Devlog#6: Production sprint 2 start
Greetings ladies and gentlemen
Here we are again after a little break. We spent some time getting rest and finishing other assignments and now we are back and ready to focus on our game. There have been some updates since the last post so i will go over them here.
Level updates
We added a floor so no more table on floating plane. Next to this we also updated the lighting a bit so everything looks a bit better. A working round timer is also implemented.
Art
- There are now 2 new car models that will be added to the game soon.
- Some nice visual effects have been made .
- A death icon for when players fall from the map.
- And also the icons for each abilities that will be used for the item pickups.
Development
Our coders have been hard at work fixing several things and adding even more like:
- A round timer to indicate when the round ends
- A working inventory system to store upgrades and discard them when the player desires
- A working menu
- Score manager tracking the players score
- Adding nitro upgrade
- Added the dynamic camera (Still in progress)
Coming up:
- Adding some visual effects to the game
- Adding some sound effects to the game
- Adding the cars to the game
- Make the game loop at the end so no restarting is required
We hope you all are just as excited as we are for the game. We will do everything we can to make the game as awesome as possible.
